Do I have to freeze it first?

Yes. BooBoo Cooler® only cools once it has been in the freezer. Straight from the box it won't feel cold, so keep the pack in the freezer and it's ready the moment you need it.

Can I put it on a scrape or a cut?

Yes. Each bandage is sterile and contains only purified water, so it's safe on scrapes, scratches and minor cuts, unlike gel packs or menthol products. For deep cuts, heavy bleeding or serious burns, see a doctor.

Can I reuse it?

No. Each bandage is sterile and single-use. Use a fresh one every time.

Is it too cold for my child's skin?

No. A thin cloth layer sits between the cooling pouch and the skin, so it feels refreshingly cool without being too cold.

Does it hurt to take off?

No. The ultra-gentle silicone adhesive is designed to peel away easily. Take it off once your child feels better, or leave it on for fun.

What ages is it for?

Any age. Adult supervision is required under age 3.
