For what kind of Boo-Boos is this good for?

How long does it stay cold?

It stays super cold for 15–20 minutes—long enough for the Boo-Boo pain and the tears to go away. 

 

Can I take it off after it starts to feel better?

Absolutely! Unlike bloody Boo-Boos, where you want the bandage to stay on until it heals, this is meant to be taken off after a few minutes if desired. It’s made with a gentle silicone adhesive that allows painless removal.

Can I reuse it?

Yes, you can reuse each bandage a few times by placing it back on the reusable pad between uses. It’s not reusable forever—you’ll probably want to replace it after a few uses. Learn more

 

Is it patented?

Yes, it is patent pending, with both a provisional and a design patent.

 

What if I want it on the go?

Since BooBoo Coolers™ need to be stored in the freezer, they’re not ideal for on-the-go use. They’re best for Boo-Boos your child gets at home. They can also be stored in a gymnastics or sports facility for little bumps and bruises while having fun.

 

Does it bend easily if placed on a finger?

Is it too cold?

All the kids who tested Boo Boo Cooler™ loved the feeling. It wasn’t too cold to wear but cold enough to deliver that instant soothing effect that stops the tears.

 

What if I want it to feel colder?

Why can’t I use it on open wounds?

Bandages for open wounds are individually wrapped and made in sterile environments to avoid infection. Boo Boo Cooler™, while made with clean materials, is not sterile and is intended for Boo-Boos without blood.

 

Has BooBoo Cooler been tested for safety?

Yes — BooBoo Cooler is produced in FDA-registered, ISO 13485, and GMP-certified facilities, and has passed U.S. children’s safety tests. Learn more
